Master

Job Details

The Master has overall command of the vessel and is ultimately responsible for the safety of the crew, vessel, cargo, and the marine environment. This role leads all shipboard operations, ensures compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies, and provides strong leadership to maintain safe, efficient, and economical vessel operations.

Responsibilities
  • Valid Master Mariner Certificate of Competency.
  • Valid STCW certification and required Flag State endorsements.
  • Extensive command experience on merchant vessels, preferably bulk carriers.
  • Thorough knowledge of SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, ISPS Code, MLC 2006, and COLREGs.
  • Strong knowledge of navigation, cargo operations, vessel stability, and ship management.
  • Proven leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
